About the business

Stora Karlsö is a nature reserve with a rich variety of birdlife. Large colonies of common murres and razorbills breed on the island, numbering thousands of pairs. Other common birds include eider, velvet scoter, herring gull and lesser black-backed gull. The island’s rich flora includes several rare species such as spring adonis, Stora Karlsö lettuce and Gotland lady’s mantle.
