About the business

The Ljugarn charity shop is run by Lettlandshjälpen Gotland to fund support for a crisis centre for vulnerable children in Zante, Latvia. The proceeds go towards activities for these children, in the form of support for various therapy programmes at the centre and, not least, a summer camp in Ljugarn in August for 18 children. Welcome to our popular Loppislada in Ljugarn. You’ll find us behind Ljugarns Handel (the petrol station). There, you’ll meet our enthusiastic “Ladagirlz”, who’ll help you find some great bargains amongst all the lovely things people donate to us! Everything from household goods, tools, furniture and leisure equipment to our lovely second-hand clothes section. Open every Saturday from 30 May to 29 August, 10.00–14.00 (except Midsummer’s Day).If you’d like to donate items to us, you can also do so on Thursdays from 10.00 to 12.00, when we’re open for donations.
