As well as common fish species such as perch, pike and roach, there are also rudd, tench, ide, brown trout and, occasionally, the unique silver bream.This variety of species makes for some exciting fishing! The lower section of the Närsån, a 3 km stretch, is open for fishing provided you hold a valid fishing licence. A valid fishing licence must be kept to hand throughout the fishing trip so that it can be presented upon request. Fishing around Gotland centres largely on the popular coastal fishing for sea trout.
