A three-day day riding camp during the summer of 2026! We welcome children and young people with little to a fair amount of riding experience. We are based in Fjäle, Anga parish. Our Riding Camps: We offer two different camps during the summer. One is for older children aged 10 and over with good riding experience, and the other is for slightly younger children aged 7 and over, suitable for those with little to moderate riding experience. ‘Good riding experience’ means that you feel confident riding independently at all gaits, both in the riding arena and in the woods. For camps requiring little to moderate riding experience, participants must be able to steer, brake and trot independently in the riding arena. Parents or adults are welcome to assist their child if desired. The riding camp lasts three days, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9.00–16.00 during week 27 for the older children, and 10.00–16.00 during week 30 for the younger children. Price: 3,600 SEK. We ride twice a day or have one longer session.During the camp, each child will have their own horse to ride and look after. As well as riding and spending time with the horses, we’ll also learn basic knowledge about horses and how to care for them. And, of course, we’ll have fun with crafts and games. We work in small groups to ensure a safe and personalised camp experience. We always try to organise the programme so that the children feel safe, and we may occasionally adjust the schedule slightly depending on the weather.This includes, amongst other things: - Two riding sessions per day, or one longer session. - A day trip with riding on the Anga Trail – an obstacle course with fun exercises for posture and balance.- A quiz walk or treasure hunt on horseback! - Grooming the horse and looking after its equipment. - Homemade lunch, afternoon tea and snacks. - Hobby horse fun for the younger children.
