Weaving ribbons on a ribbon loom is an ancient weaving technique practised all over the world. The technique involves stretching a narrow warp between the weaver’s body and a fixed point. The ribbon is then woven using the ribbon loom. The course begins with each of us setting up our own warp and starting to weave a striped ribbon. After a while, we re-thread the loom and weave a round ribbon, all using the same warp threads. If time allows, we can also start on a ribbon of our own design. - No prior experience required - All materials are provided.
