Exhibition featuring Rickard Jakobsson at Hantverkshuset

Rickard Jakobsson from Faludden: I am self-taught and took up painting later in life; I take photographs and paint from them, but in my own style, and have mostly held my exhibitions in Stockholm. I build up the painting using pencil, pastels, acrylics and often plenty of water, so that the paint can create its own patterns with different layers and drying times in between, before finishing with a coat of varnish. The paintings feature scenes from Stockholm, Gotland, as well as animals and nature. A warm welcome to all!
