Shibori at Suderverket

Welcome to Suderverket’s Shibori course. Using folds, knots, stitches, clothes pegs, clamps, elastic bands and other techniques, we create unique patterns using the Japanese dyeing technique known as shibori. Each piece of fabric becomes its own little work of art. We dye with indigo in large pots outdoors. No prior experience is required. Fabric and indigo are included. Please bring your own lunch and snacks; a kettle and microwave are available, or you can visit Kafffestugan at Bottarve. You can buy more fabric on site.
