Music on a summer evening with the Gotland Jazz Trio and Tomas Boström

Tomas Boström grew up in Västervik, the town of folk songs; he learnt to play the guitar at an early age and soon began writing his own songs. As a teenager, he found his home in the world of the church. His songs therefore have a spiritual resonance and have been performed in everything from simple chapels to grand cathedrals. Tomas Boström has long been a resident of Gotland and served for many years as a vicar at Vårdklockan Church in Visby. Together with the Gotland Jazz Trio and clarinettist Johan Söderlund, he presents a heartfelt programme that invites reflection on the sea and beaches, and on life’s turning points.
