Drawing inspiration from the shapes and movements of nature, we emboss patterns into aluminium, which are then assembled into a wind chime to adorn your garden or hang in a window. The result is a personalised piece that captures light and movement.No prior experience is required. Please bring reading glasses if you usually use them, and feel free to bring a cloth bag so you can take your creation home safely and gently. You’ll receive step-by-step guidance, whilst there’s plenty of scope for personal expression and playful exploration. We’ll also discuss other materials, the possibility of reusing materials, and the tools and techniques you can take forward in your own creative work. This is a fairly inexpensive hobby; you’ll already have many of the tools at home. All materials and pattern templates are included in the course fee, and tools are available to borrow on site.
