Ceramics: Shaping, Building and Sculpture – Summer Course (2 days)
Target audience: You do not need any prior knowledge; you will develop at your own level and in your own time. Objectives: By the end of the course, you will have deepened your knowledge of ceramics. The course aims to help you explore and strengthen your own artistic expression in a calm and relaxed environment. Content: This course focuses on form and construction, composition, and the study of form and materials. You will work with various building techniques, create sculptural sketches and shape pieces based on your own sketches, as well as decorate them. Any glazing will be carried out by the course leader. Teaching method: Practical work under the supervision of the course leader. Some sessions will be group-based. Materials: Stoneware clay at a cost of 80 kr/kg will be charged separately. Payment can be made via Swish. The material cost includes clay, glaze and firing. Opportunities for development: Ceramics is a wide-ranging craft, and there are endless opportunities to improve your technique and develop your artistic expression. The teaching combines both individual and group supervision, offering excellent opportunities for development, whether you attend several terms or take different ceramics courses.
