Prerequisites: This course is for those who have studied French before or can speak it at a basic level whilst on holiday. Objectives: The aim is for you to be able to understand and use simple sentences and hold a basic conversation with someone who speaks slowly and clearly. Course content: On this course, you will learn:Common words and simple phrasesTalking about yourselfAsking simple questions and understanding simple answersBasic grammarSpeaking and writing about simple topicsCulture and societyCourse structureLessons are mainly conducted in French, with a focus on oral communication. You are expected to participate actively in lessons and will have ample opportunity to influence the course content and structure. You should allow for a few hours of homework between sessions.TutorYour tutor has a good command of the French language and extensive teaching experience. She also has a great passion for the language and French culture, which makes the lessons fun and engaging.Course materialsCourse materials are not included in the course fee. Information on which book to use and where to buy it will be provided with your course invitation.
