Photo exhibition: Medieval Week’s Wall of Fame

"– I got in touch with Medieval Week with a dream of creating a photo series that would highlight the multifaceted patchwork of personalities who, together, make up Medieval Week," says photographer Björn Falkevik about the ‘Wall of Fame’ photo project. During Medieval Christmas, December 2025, photographer Björn Falkevik and Medieval Week set up a photo studio in St Nicolai – where the co-creators of Medieval Week, amidst the smoke and warmth of fire baskets burning birch wood, were immortalised by Björn’s camera lens.This is part 3 of the Medieval Week ‘Wall of Fame’ project. The other parts were on display at Visby Galleria during the summers of 2024 and 2025. The exhibition opening takes place on 9 July at 1.00 pm. The exhibition runs from 9 July to 9 August and can be viewed during Visby Galleria’s opening hours.
