FJK at KUNO Kulturhus

On 23 August, Kuno Kulturhus will welcome one of the most highly regarded trios in Swedish folk music – FJK. FJK consists of Anders Forsslund, Christer Jonasson Tolv and Mats Klingström. The trio was formed in Vasastaden, Stockholm, back in 1981 and quickly gained recognition as one of the innovators of the Swedish folk song tradition. With their own songs, powerful lyrics and a personal style, they toured extensively throughout the country and became well known through radio and TV appearances during the 1980s and 1990s.Since their debut single in 1982, they have released a long series of albums and played countless gigs. Even today, they perform together with the same joy and musicality that have always characterised FJK.The audience can look forward to an evening filled with rhythm, warmth and reflection – featuring wonderful harmonies, skilful musicianship and songs that touch the heart. It will be a concert where there is room for both old memories and new experiences.The last time FJK visited Gotland was during a community centre tour in 2022, and now they are looking forward to returning to Fårösund for an evening at Kuno Kulturhus.
