Film and discussion: How are things in Sweden?

In the gap between the ‘people’s home’ and the future, documentary filmmaker Lina Maria Mannheimer travelled to small towns from north to south and asked the seemingly simple question: how are things?The film consists of 20 stylised portraits and scenes – small-scale snapshots of everyday life from Swedish homes and workplaces. The film was produced as part of the Swedish Film Institute and Sveriges Television’s democracy initiative *Mina drömmars land* (*The Land of My Dreams*), in co-production with Film i Väst and Mannheimer Produktion. Discussion with Diamant Salihu (investigative journalist and author of the books *Tills alladör* and *När ingen lyssnar*), Casper T. Schaber (co-founder of 500 and Stockholm Music Week, who works on analysing public opinion and social trends) and Lina Maria Mannheimer (director).
