The family show *Vipsssss* – shells, rustling, tension, room to manoeuvre and spirals

The family show *Vipsssss* explores a chair that sings when it’s spun round. Can it be balanced on the tip of your chin? What does it sound like on a plank? When it’s balanced high up in the air? Is it possible to keep your balance on it, and can you get the blocks perfectly balanced? Balance is exciting! *Vipsssss* is a show that inspires a sense of balance! The show weaves together the arts of sound, movement and circus in an attentive interplay, broadens the senses and creates an opportunity to listen with your whole body.Few or no words. Vocal art, juggling and balancing. Play with sound objects and balancing equipment.By and with the Vibrationsverket Ensemble – Anna E Weiser, musician and composer-choreographer; Wolfgang Weiser, juggler and balance artist. The performance takes place in Vibrationsverket’s large, beautiful white tent in Anga parish on eastern Gotland.Duration: Approx. 50 mins, including a 25-minute performance plus a hands-on session. All children get to try playing simple instruments, walk a balance beam, juggle, and have a go at some simple basket weaving!*Playing with baskets is fitting, as this summer, in collaboration with Region Gotland’s development organisation, Gotland Museum and Oska Studio AB, we have received a project grant to work with baskets and basket weaving. In *Vipsssss*, balanced baskets play an important role. You’ll see!
