Breathwork

Breathwork is a powerful and effective way of using conscious breathing to balance the parasympathetic and sympathetic nervous systems, thereby helping the body to find calm, tranquillity and recovery. During a breathwork session, alpha waves are activated in your brain and you enter a state where you are awake without actively thinking. Your heart rate slows down, your breathing becomes deeper, oxygenation of the body increases, you relax and experience inner peace and tranquillity.By practising breathwork regularly, you open up the possibility for yourself to live and lead from a calmer, more present and grounded place within yourself.The session takes place whilst lying on your back on a yoga mat, to rhythmic music and with an eye mask to block out visual distractions. Please wear comfortable, loose-fitting clothes that allow your chest and torso to move freely. Yoga mats, blankets and eye masks are provided. A warm welcome!
