BERGMAN WEEK ON FÅRÖ, 22–26 JUNE 2026

Welcome to Bergman Week – the big festival on the little island! The star-studded programme for Bergman Week 2026 is out now. The guest of honour is the French star actress Juliette Binoche, who is visiting Bergman Week to present the Swedish premiere of her directorial debut, *In-I In Motion*. Gustaf Skarsgård will be on hand to discuss his upcoming feature film debut, the Ingmar Bergman-inspired horror film *The Cannibal on Fårö*, alongside Alex Schulman, who is making his feature film debut with the eagerly awaited *Archipelago*.Sweden’s most playful artist, Marie-Louise Ekman, is coming to the festival to talk about her first feature film in 20 years, and we’ll be exploring the connection between Bergman and David Lynch together with Mary Sweeney, Lynch’s creative partner, editor and producer.The festival opens with the world premiere of *Det grönaste gräset*. Also premiering are *Doggerland* and *Thomas Has Not Left the Building*, and you can watch films in Bergman’s own cinema. Bergman Week 2026 concludes with Pedro Almodóvar’s *Autofiction*.
