The Almedal 5K Run
On Thursday 25 June at 7.30 am, we will make a joint statement at Kruttornet. During Almedalen Week, there is a lot of talk – in the Almedalen 5k Run, we’ll put those words into action. Swedish Athletics and Svaide Roma invite you to show that the joy of exercise, public health and inclusion are issues that deserve to be highlighted. This isn’t just a 5-kilometre run along the seafront. It’s a demonstration for the right to sport for everyone. Whether you’re representing a political party, a company or yourself – come as you are. Walk, roll, jog or run. Why your participation matters: Stand up for public health: Your presence shows that sport and physical activity are an integral part of the public debate. True inclusion: We’re lowering all barriers. No fees, no prestige – just pure community spirit. Children’s race at 09.00: We’re paving the way for the next generation’s joy of movement. Support para-sport: All proceeds from the entry fee will go towards supporting para-sport on Gotland.Quick facts: Venue: Kruttornet, Visby (Strandpromenaden).
